The house is located in a quiet village at an altitude of about 700m. The village of Vera de Erque is an ideal place to relax and rest. Visitors have the impression that here the time has stopped. In the vicinity there are three restaurants serving traditional Canarian cuisine. They are the Bodegas "Vargas", "Las Goteras" and the "Juan Luis". Above you will find the village of Las Fuentes. The walking tour there is interesting from a historical perspective as it leads us into an area that was operated up to the 1940`s by intensive agriculture. In the abandoned farmhouse "Casa Montiel," we see the cobbled courtyard, a cave that was used as a wine cellar, a threshing floor and a small pool of water. In the hamlet of "Las Fuentes" there are some abandoned buildings. In the thirties up to 150 people lived here and the village reached its most important agricultural development and was considered the breadbasket of Guia de Isora. In the seventies, the last families left the hamlet, as mainly by beginning of irrigation the City, farming moved toward the coast areas and therefore the Jobs moved.
