Arico is a village in the southeast of the island of Tenerife, with more than 7,500 inhabitants. It is connected with the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife with the motorway TF-1 and the old road of Santa Cruz de Tenerife - Adeje. Neighboring municipalities are Arafo and Granadilla de Abona.
Arico seems to stand in the place lost in time. You can stroll through the narrow streets and enjoy the special atmosphere. The people have no rush and you should get infected by this. It is a quiet, small town, situated in the sunny part of Tenerife, where clouds and rain is very, very rare.
