The finca La Traviesa is a typical canary style house which is over 100 years old and has 2 apartments. The house is on a 18.000 qm area sourounded by a garden with many different flowers and fruit trees. There also is a winery at the house and the owner`s passion is producing wine and he invites his guests for a tasting. Because of the high level the holiday house shouws you an outrages view over the landscape of Teneriffa, the Atlantic ocean and the islaands of La Gomera and La Palma. Here you have pure silence and fresh air. If you are looking for peace, nature and hiking trails, this is the right place. The next houses are hundreds of metres away which guarantees you silence and privat atmosphere. Do you like some action and crowded places ? You will find it in the next villages about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Both apartments have a fire place which gives you warmness and comfortable, romantic evenings. In winter it can get cold in the evening because of the high location. Therefor we recommend to bring some warm clothes with you. A rental car is necessary. You can get fresh bred and eggs every morning if you want it. The apartment is a non smoking apartment. The apartment "La Traviesa" has a living area of 65qm with the following furnishing

The apartement "La Traviesa 1" is in the village Vilaflor which is the highest located village of Teneriffa on an avarage hight of 1.400 metres above sealevel.
In this hight the air is extreme clear and clean so it is ideal for people with lung problems. But this is not all what makes Vilaflor intersting. In direct neighbourhood you will find some superlatives of nature. For example the immemorial tremendous stone pine which are about 45 metres high and a diameter of about 3 metres or the biggest pine of the island - Pino Gordo - which is also 45 metres high and has a circumference of 11 metres. The emblem of Vilaflor is the "Montana de Chasna" which is a 2.534 metres high mountain. The top of the mountain looks like a spanish sombrero.
For the one who is a oenophile, a special surprice waits for you. In Vilaflor you can get the popular wine called "Flor de Chasna" which is made in ecology cultivation.
