The tranquillity of Fuerteventura is called Majanicho. The small village is located on the north coast of Fuerteventura, far away from mass tourism. It is a perfect place for water sports, especially for kitesurfers and windsurfers. Diving and fishing are also possible. On the shore of the bay Playa de Majanicho are small cottages that were originally used as fishermen's huts. At weekends they are used by Canarios to relax in nature.
In Majanicho, you get the feeling that time has literally stood still. It is an ideal place to relax and unwind. You can take long walks along the coast, accompanied by the sound of the waves and the sea breeze, or simply lie on the sand and enjoy the peace and quiet. There are no restaurants or shops to be found, just a rocky coastline and crystal blue waters. The only restaurant in the village is in a resort Origo Mare, which is less than 2km from the beach. A rental car is necessary. There is no bus service.
Majanicho is a magical place.
