About 2 km northeast of the centre, a modern double house was build a few years ago. In one half lives the owner, the other is for rent. The house is just 100m away from the shore so you can enjoy a marvellous view over the ocean. The house has a separat entrances. It has 2 floors. In the first floor you find the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom, bathroom with bathtube and a terrace where you can not look onto from outside. On top floor you will find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms have a terrace from where you have a mavellous view to the ocean. The house "Las Olas" is a non.smoking house. Of course you can smoke outside. The house is devided in the large
livingroom including group of seats, TV with english programs, radio, CD-player
the kitchen including cuttlery, crockery, coffee machine, toaster, water heater, towels, washing machine, etc.
3 bedrooms including one double bed 150 x 190cm, 3 single beds 90 x 190cm with bedlinen, iron with board, one baby bed and a high chair

Although El Medano is well known world wide by surfers, the village still is not overcrowded. At the east and west of the village there are nice sand beaches and bays which are deserted - it is fabulous, like the beaches of Playa de las Tejitas and Ensenada Pelada. Kitesurfing in El Medano is very popular. Here you find a very beautiful marketplace with cafes, restaurants and shops of all kind. This market place is next to a flat beach which we recommend for children. In the west is the 3km long beach Playa del Medano which goes right to the Montana Roja. It can be seen miles away in a red gleam. It is just right for sun bathing, surfing, for taking a walk or swimming in the sea. Incidentally there is a nudist beach behind the vulcano cone of Montana Roja.

Distances:

The house is only 100m away from the shore. The naturally sand beach is suitable for children because it is going flat into the water and there are no water streams.
It is a 1 minute walking to the beach. Restaurants and supermarkets are 2 minutes away by car. A farmer market you will find in San Isidro which is 5 km away. There you can get fresh fruit, vegetable, chees, wine, pastries every saturday and sunday morning. To the tourist centres of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas you can get in 20 minutes by car. The airport is 12 km away and you will need about 10 minutes by car.
